An after-school twilight course for Foundation and Key Stage 1 classroom teachers in Derby and Derbyshire schools discovering ways in which music can actively support literacy work in the classroom.

Year-long, 30-week instrumental programmes of whole class instrumental teaching to KS2 pupils (aimed at Year 4 classes). Supporting schools to deliver Core Role 1 of the National Plan for Music Education.

North East Derbyshire Music Centre are looking for someone to provide SEN support to assist ensemble directors. No musical experience is required.

CPD activities, events and services for all Derby and Derbyshire school teachers.

Regular musical activities in Derby and Derbyshire for all young musicians to be a part of.

There are seven main music centres in Derbyshire serving various geographical areas across the city and county.

Applications to the Derby & Derbyshire Schools' Orchestra (DDSO) and to audition for the City & County Youth Orchestra (CCYO) and Wind Band (CCYWB) can be made at any time with auditions running at different times of the year.
