Singing helps young people grow in confidence, be curious and retain information whilst boosting their concentration. This CPD event will tap into the positive power of song for all, and equip you with new ideas that really work.

Lin Marsh

Lin MarshLin is highly sought-after composer, specialising in vocal works for young people. She is one of the UK's most well respected singing leaders, travelling the country insuring students and teachers with her dynamic workshops. She has worked extensively in Music education with the BBC, the Royal Opera House, for the QCA Music Scheme for KS1 and KS2, for Youth Music and for Sing Up − to name but a few.

Lin has written many popular songbooks including − Believe / Junior Songscape books − for Stage and Screen, Earth Sea and Sky / Silver Moon / Pirates / Something Spooky / Song of the Winter Wind…

Who is this CPD event for?

The CPD event is available free of charge for:

  • All KS1, KS2 and KS3 teachers, or teaching assistants working in Derby and/or Derbyshire Schools
  • Any choir leader who runs/directs a youth choir in Derby or Derbyshire
  • Any practitioner working with the Derby & Derbyshire Music Partnership, including accredited singing and instrumental teachers, Singing Support Team teachers, Wider Opportunities deliverers and MSPs.
