Some of our senior string players will work on their individual repertoire with Morven Bryce in this open masterclass.

All SEDMC violin and viola students, parents and local teachers are invited to watch the masterclass.

Morven Bryce

Morven studied at the Royal Academy of Music with Erich Gruenberg and Zakhar Born.  She was founder and leader of the Tippett String Quartet and since 2003 has appeared as guest leader of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Soloist's Orchestra & BBC Concert Orchestra as well as Associate Leader of The Academy of St Martin in the Fields. She has performed and recorded chamber music with Nigel Kennedy, Joshua Bell, Murray Periah and Andras Schiff both at home and abroad. As a teacher Morven has conducted performance workshops for the University of York and the Royal Academy of Music.
