We're proud to present many events from the partners of the hub every academic year, featuring performances from thousands of musicians across all of Derbyshire
With a diverse range of groups and ensembles, these events show the hard work and talent of our young musicians and delivery partners across the city and county.

Derby Music Centre at Rainbows Christmas Concert
Get ready to be dazzled by performances from talented choirs and young musicians from local primary schools, alongside Derby Music Centre and Derby Rock Choir.
Together, they will bring to life a selection of festive favorites that will have you singing along and tapping your feet. Whether you’re a fan of traditional carols or contemporary holiday hits, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
A Taste of Christmas
The Family Brass Band, along with the Senior Choir, senior woodwind, senior brass and percussion ensembles invite you to celebrate the start of Christmas.
SEND musical theatre day
A special one-day workshop for SEND pupils where they can tey their hand at singing, dancing and acting with a short performance for family and friends at the end.

Crooked Spire Christmas Tree Festival
Flute Choir and Clarinet Choir from Chesterfield & North East Derbyshire Music Centre will be performing at the Christmas Tree Festival at the Crooked Spire in Chesterfield.
These two concerts are a culmination of residential courses for both ensembles at the Hayes Conference Centre earlier in the week.

A KTCo Christmas
A festive musical revue featuring performances from our Adult Collective, Soiree Singers, Private Singing Students, Group Singing Class, and Junior Actors. With a mix of classic carols and contemporary holiday songs, each group brings its unique flair to this heartwarming celebration.
All proceeds from this charity event go to the Lewis Sewell Memorial Trust, supporting young people through the arts in memory of Lewis.

The Snowman Tour: Derby
Make it a Christmas to remember with a special screening The Snowman, accompanied by a live orchestra. These award-winning shows features some of the UK's finest professional musicians.
Alongside The Snowman, enjoy the premiere of The Bear, the Piano, the Dog and the Fiddle film, based on the book by David Litchfield and screened with live orchestral accompaniment for the first time!

Secondary Sing Aloud
Students from Highfields School (Matlock), Brookfield Community School (Chesterfield), David Nieper Academy (Alfreton), Buxton Community School and Tupton Hall School are combining for a day of rehearsals and performances in Chesterfield and Matlock.
The choirs will combine for performances as a massed choir, as well as sing in their own school choirs to showcase what they have been preparing in school. The performances will also include solo features from individual students.

The Crooked Spire – The Choirs will be performing as part of the Derbyshire Carers Association Christmas service for dignitaries, carers and their families, and the public.
