Singing Stars

Singing StarsSinging Stars is a 10-week project designed for Key Stage 1 (KS1) students, involving 45-minute weekly lessons led by a singing specialist.

The program aligns with the National Curriculum for Music and the Model Music Curriculum. Each session includes engaging warm-ups, versatile attention-focusing activities, and exercises to enhance listening and concentration skills. The project emphasizes vocal development through various repertoire, progressing from simple pitch-matching to rounds and partner songs.

Musicianship skills are honed through singing games, concentrating on pulse, pitch, tempo, dynamics, and rhythmic elements. The culmination of the project typically involves an informal performance for other classes or parents.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is integrated, allowing class teachers to learn through participation, with additional resources and advice available upon request.

Infant Music Parties

Infant Music PartiesInfant Music Parties is a one-time project for Year 2 pupils, involving collaboration among two or three local schools and led by a singing specialist.

The event takes place at a host school from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, featuring activities such as learning new songs, playing musical games, and enjoying live music. The project uses a chosen songbook, with each school purchasing it for preparation purposes for under £20.

The session incorporates fun warm-ups, musicianship skill development through singing games, and a playtime segment, allowing students to socialize and make new friends while enjoying refreshments provided by the host school.

Whole School Singing

Whole School SingingThis project offers schools a vibrant approach to whole-school singing with 10 30 minute sessions with singing specialist.

The program aims to rejuvenate school-wide singing, fostering confidence and positivity among both staff and pupils.
A typical project includes enjoyable warm-ups and versatile activities suitable for any time of the day, enhancing focus, re-energizing, and improving listening and concentration skills.

The repertoire is flexible, allowing song choices to support topic learning and school collective worship. Musicianship skills are developed through singing games and rhymes, focusing on pulse, pitch, tempo, dynamics, and rhythmic elements. Vocal skills are honed through various activities, from simple pitch-matching to rounds and partner songs as appropriate.


Ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is integrated, providing school staff with the opportunity to build confidence in singing by observing the specialist.All song resources are provided, and the confirmation of booking details is encouraged.

Sing2gether

Sing2getherSing2gether is a cluster project designed for either Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) with three 1-hour sessions, culminating in a massed performance led by a singing specialist.

Involving up to four local schools, each school learns the same repertoire in three sessions before coming together for a massed workshop and performance at one of the participating schools.

The project includes engaging warm-ups, activities for attention and concentration, a focus on achieving vocal excellence through carefully selected repertoire, and the development of musicianship skills.

The performance, open to parents, celebrates the pupils' success. The initiative also offers ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and resources, including a twilight set-up meeting, shared CPD sessions, and all necessary materials for participating staff.

Sing 4 Life!

Sing 4 LifeSing4Life is a 10-week project tailored for Key Stage 2 (KS2) students, featuring weekly 45-minute lessons led by a singing specialist.

Aligned with the National Curriculum for Music and the Model Music Curriculum, the program focuses on comprehensive development of singing and musicianship skills.

The project incorporates fun warm-ups, versatile attention-focused activities, and introduces a variety of repertoire to enhance vocal skills, progressing from unison singing to partner songs and rounds. Musicianship skills are honed through singing games and rhymes, emphasizing pulse, pitch, tempo, dynamics, and rhythmic elements.

The project concludes with an informal performance for other classes or parents, and ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is integrated, allowing class teachers to learn through participation with additional resources and advice available upon request.
