Rock school projects and music technology opportunities for secondary school pupils.
Fleet Arts and Baby People provide the following subsidised music activities to secondary school pupils as part of the Derbyshire Music Education Hub:
Rock Master class
A half-day of rock master classes for up to 30 musically talented pupils. This will feature a performance by an experienced group, workshops on individual instrumental development and development of ensemble performance skill.
Rock Schools
After-school band projects of six sessions focussing on band skills and song writing. Projects will conclude with two extra sessions − a live gig and a recording session.
Kick Start
A half-day of performance and workshops for students aged 11 - 18, including a performance by an experienced group of musicians and workshops on individual skill development.
