A free project for KS3-5 for school choirs and soloists to perform in a high-profile collaborative event

Secondary Sing Aloud is collaborative project involving school choirs and soloists from multiple schools, combining for a high profile event at a larger venue.

School choirs and soloists showcase their talents independently as well as joining with other school choirs and performers for massed items.

All resources for massed items are provided in advance and a singing specialist delivers a one-hour session on the approach to the performance with participating schools.

A typical project includes:

Performance excellence
A focus of the project is to deliver an impressive ensemble performance at a very high standard that is challenging but achievable.
Repertoire and singing skills
Pupils will develop their skills in singing in harmony, multiple parts and rounds whilst covering a wide range of repertoire such a pop, musical theatre, rock and traditional.
Performance opportunity
The project offers a chance for school choirs and soloists to perform at a high-profile event outside of school.

How much does Secondary Sing Aloud cost?

The cost is FREE for participating schools who are invited to perform at a higher-profile event. Support for the massed items is provided by a singing specialist at no cost.

Travel costs to and from the massed performance are not provided.
