Special Sing2gether
Derby & Derbyshire Music Partnership offers an opportunity for special schools to join together for this singing project culminating in a sharing of what has been learned.
Special Sing2gether is an exciting singing programme that joins 2 special schools with the aim of culminating in a joint sharing performance at one of the schools.
Each school receives a series of sessions led by a member of the Singing Support Team, that develops singing, musicianship and memory skills through songs and activities that include musicianship and Makaton signs.
A planning visit to each school is also included to help choose suitable songs and repertoire for all pupils, and to assess how many sessions may be needed, and how long they should be.
