2019/2020 and 2020/2021 Hub events archive

Events from 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 within the Derbyshire Music Education Hub.

The Covid-19 pandemic impacted heavily on the ability to engage in music-making during the academic years 2019/20 and 2020/21.

Restrictions placed on face-to-face activity in early 2020 placed a stop to what would have been busy period of events and concerts running through to the end of the academic year and into the next.

Music-making during the following 2020/2021 academic year was still severely disrupted with many hub partners not being able to meet regularly or consistently until the summer of 2021.

April 2020 – July 2021

Many of our hub partners were able to engage with their members and parents in online events and recording projects that could be done from home.
